Fun Weekend and More

Carl and Amy alone with no kids, yes it really did happen! Fun Fun Fun! Thanks Grandma!

Wow where to start. We drove up to MD, VA and PA for a quick trip to the mountains. Grandma and Grandpa Poe watched the kids THANKS! Here are some pics of everyone and the house.

Nate's School Pics

Nate had a Valentine's Day party at school today. I think he was a bit out of it because he missed his nap the last three days. We know how Nate likes to sleep. When I was going through the pics I said Nate" Who is sitting next to you?" His reply " That is my girlfriend" Carl was so proud.

Maybe and Herego

Nate now starts every sentence with Maybe. "Maybe you can get me a cookie, mommy" " Maybe you can play cars with me". Caitlin's word of the week is "Herego" yes that means here you go. She hands you everything and says "Herego". It is very cute
Lets see last week I asked Nate if he wanted to stop at Wendy's for some Chicken nuggets he quickly responded " No I just had a boogie". After that response I couldn't even think about eating. Laying in bed a week later he asked. " Mommy What is protein" I said well Nate you eat protein and it makes you grow big and strong . His reply " Well you don't eat boogies and you don't eat playdough so I guess you eat protein" Smart kid really starting to put it together now!

Okay well its been such a fun weekend Caitlin has it coming out of the diaper end and Nate is throwing up. It has been a blast! Lets just say we are counting the minutes until we get to Grandma Poe's house on Thursday and leave the kids with her for three days! GOOD LUCK GRANDMA!

The new house is really coming along. We have windows, shingles, HVAC, plumbing,showers and bath. They are working 7 days a week so after a slow start we might just be in by summer!
