Camp for Nathan

Nathan attended his first sleep away camp last week. Camp Albermarle, it was only about 30 minutes away and I wasn't really worried about homesickness as Nathan doesn't have a problem with that. I was a bit worried about the eating part but it was a nut free camp so I told him he could eat anything. He had a blast, he loved it. I was worried all week as everyday had a heat advisory with the heat index between 100 and 110 but his camp and his cabin was right on the water, so he thankfully had an  awesome breeze all week.  Its funny but I had to do quite a bit of shopping I mean the camp was for 6th through 8th graders so deodorant had to be bought as well as no more kid shampoo, and kid toothpaste,... we switched to axe and mens shampoo! You know its funny he could have cared less, so  and when he came home and I noticed I sent him with his shark pjs I said  I am sorry Nathan I didn't get you more mature pjs ... his reply " Mom I was the boss in my shark pjs! HAHAHAHAAH Love that kid.  So he said he ate quite a few salads for dinner but breakfast and lunch were fine. He had a blast sailing, swimming, climbing trees and doing the alpine tower, he even enjoyed all the bible study and like always can't wait until next year!!! Looks like we will be beans and rice this year!!!!! I have to say he had a great experience and I can tell he really grew as a person and that beats spending 500 on a stupid x box any day so here at the Priechenfried house we are busy making memories not stuff.... time to pack for our next adventure!!!!

Welcome Kona

Well we got our new bundle of joy on Saturday. She's a good girl, although he has lots of little puppy teeth and loves to chew. I miss my kids and can't wait to see their smiling faces today to help me take care of this little puppy!!!! Good times Good times. Oh and I am so glad I got a puppy in the middle of summer, no shoes required and I can take her out in my pjs in the middle of the night. So this potty training stands a chance!

 I love these three so much! They are so much fun!!!!! Oh did I mention lots of work too but so much fun. Each one so different but cool in their own special way!!!!!

Change of Command

 Carl gave up command of 2nd Intel Battalion and well I can put it on the blog as its no mystery I am glad it is over.   I am proud of him but the long hours and the long hours and the long hours and well the long hours. Social functions and expectations on my end and  it just wasn't for me. If the kids were older but no it was so hard, I know you are thinking how hard can it be..... well maybe my outlook will change in a few months time but lets just say ready for the next Chapter!!!!!

Hello Summer!
Oh we love summer and we have been having a blast. Well minus the last week where I had this cold that would not stop but I am on the mend now so let the fun continue. Okay so here goes! First a trip to Florida to celebrate Mike and Holly getting married ..... Oh what a wedding. Can you say amazing!!!!!!!

 It was a bit windy and wavy but it was Florida and like always it was awesome. We saw so many people and we had so much fun! There was a party at the Janicki's and the wedding at the Vinoy... and well just plain fun.

 Back from Florida and swimming is off to a great start, I can't believe the season is more than half over already. It goes by so so fast!!!

Owen is doing great this year.... Okay I have to go to work but lots more later tonight!
