Owen 7 months old

I took the kids to the pool the last day it was open. I took them all by myself. It was fun and exhausting!

They are best friends. Caitlin has had a tough time with Nathan at school. They are best friends!

Owen, Oh Owen! You are 7 months old tomorrow. You have a smile that melts my heart. Which is a good thing because you are so much work! At your check up you weighed 18 pounds and 8 ounces. This was not a surprise, just check out my biceps. You are crawling very fast and you like to put your foot behind you like a kickstand. You can even pull yourself to a stand ! No kidding. When other people see your skills they shake their head and say WOW!

I love this picture. Carl took the kids to this petting zoo. He said they loved the duck best. This picture says it all. I can just hear Nate's silly laugh and Caitlin's belly laugh! Too Funny!

The end of summer 2010

It was an awesome week. I was busy with work all week. I love working for Janicki, I got to use my brain oh it was a welcome change! Hurricane Earl turned out to be nothing and our weekend plans were right on track. Ali and Troy came down and we had a great weekend. We kept the boat at the dock all weekend so we just got on and headed out to Bear Island every day. It is about a 15 min boat ride just far enough but not to far. Owen went with us both days and did great.

Grandma and Grandpa Poe

Grandma and Grandpa Poe came for a visit and we got to help Grandpa with his birthday cake. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Susan came for the party. Happy Birthday Grandpa.

Caitlin Preschool

Caitlin had her first day of preschool last week. She is in the same class as she was in last year. With her late birthday she still has two more years. She knows basic sight words (of ,and, to, the, no , it) and can recognize the alphabet and numbers although she can't write her name yet so I guess we have two more years to practice.


She got dressed " all by myself!" I guess we still have to work on getting our shoe on the right foot. Oh well, we have two years to practice !!!!
