Happy 15th Birthday Nathan!!!!

I knew Nathan would not be very happy about not spending his birthday with friends so we had a family Zoom birthday party which was great fun. I also made an appointment for him to get his learners permit the next morning. He was nervous as his friends told him it was hard but he got a 100%%% the lady said " we don't see that very often". I even let him drive home..... We have driven 6 hours so far and he is getting better everyday. We are going to take a long drive this week. I wish I could say this pandemic means we have lots of time to drive but we still find ourselves so busy but we are driving. 

Nathan asked for this boat and I kept it very well hidden it is very awesome I mus admit.

Easter 2020

 I made Easter extra special because well..... we are stuck at home and not in Key West.... oh sad sad kids!!!

WE are so lucky....

When we are not in school we are out exploring on the boat. It makes us feel like we are on a mini-vacation. Sometimes we go gator hunting, other times its island exploring. Good times!!! 

 It was a rough rough start to online school but now we are in a routine!!!

 Sometimes we head out in the jon boat other times we take the big boat!!!

And then it happened....... Pandemic 2020

We were ready only we weren't . When the reports of a pandemic came out of China I knew oh shit.... because they never tell us the whole truth. I started preparing the kids and told them their last day of school would be they didn't really believe me. By this time I had already spent $2000.00 in groceries and it was only March 13th. By the next week we were home, the grocery stores were bare and I thought humm....... its all been very weird. All my classes went online, and for the most part we are all fine. Well except Nathan this has definitely hit him the hardest. I am doing my best but not going to lie this hard when you have a child that is so social and you had no idea. So here we are and for the most part we are going great. We are healthy and mostly happy and who knows what happens next.

I make the kids exercise PE everyday and they hate it, and I don't care!!!!

Snowshoe 2020

We had a blast at snowshoe this year. After a very mild winter we caught a very very small window of snow.  The trails were not piled with snow but we got about 4 inches while were there. Great weather and it was as good as it could have been. Everyone had a blast and we all came back in one piece!!!!

By the time we left the snow was gone but we didn't care we had a blast.... till next year Snowshoe!!!!
