hiya!
we miss talking w/you each day on your way home from work! amy & i are keeping up & sharing baby stories, but we miss you too! all is well here...carlie had a fever all week so we were back & forth to the doctor & giving meds every 3 hours, 24 hours/day from tues-fri! she is better, but now has the viral rash, so still keeping a close eye on her! we've been busy w/our landscaping...i planted two corner beds yesterday, & can't move today! soooooo sore! but they look great! think i planted too close though...but i'm not moving them now! one bed has a tree in the middle w/4 shrubs around it...& lots of daylilies & verbena...figure i can move 2 of the shrubs if they get too big...so no biggie! am off to chapel hill today...mom is keeping carlie tonight & nina tomorrow...have a conference tomorrow "improving care of the acutely ill elder"...we get to do simulations w/"stan", the life dummy. better than lectures ALL day anyway...& going w/my buddy from work anne again...we plan to take that hotel shuttle & go to 411 again tonight, & shop a little when we get there...should be fun! okay, gotta go get carlie...it's 6:45am & she is calling...she now says "mommmm-meeeeeeeee, dadddddd-deeeeeeee" really drawn out...it's impossible to resist! love this website...keep updates coming you if you can! & tell us what you need/crave! love you bunches! carenooooooooooosssssssssss, teddy & carlie-pie xoxoxox
ps- carlie has a slide like nathan's & it is a HUGE hit!

Grandma Poe!

Hi,
It's Grandma Poe. We can hardly wait for the Amy/Nate visit --- only 11 more days! Grandma got a car seat today with the help of Aunt Ali, also a few toys for Nate! The first cookie shipment will take off next week so get ready!! We miss you Carl! Stay safe!!

A Note From CARL
Hi everybody - don't be afraid to type a blog, I love hearing from everyone! And the pictures of little Nate are terrific - does he really need another haircut already? haha! Things are busy but good (and safe!) here, I'm working between 14-20 hours a day (last night was 23 hrs) but that's fine by me, it makes the days go by quickly until I can rejoin my family! I'd post some pictures myself...but we don't have cameras here on base for security reasons, so much for that idea! I hope everyone is well, I'll email more later! - Love, Car

Well its 9:00 pm the little devil is still awake I hear him playing in his crib. He has become quite the night owl, he must take after his...... who knows. Anyway we had a fun day, we were outside quite a bit he is starting to look like a kid, he has big scratches and his knees are all scraped up. Definity the rough look. Okay well we miss you, oh trust me we miss you. Its hard to keep up with him at times and friday nights are no fun with out pizza, I mean you hahahah

Nate update,
Hi Honey we miss you. Well Nate makes sounds for all his trucks now. He is so boy. Everything goes zoom actually more like brrrrr but whatever. I also noticed last night that he really does understand me . He brings you books when asked and today I pointed to his pile of toys and told him to bring me a truck, sure enough. It is amazing how fast he grows, don't worry I told him to slow down so you wouldn't miss anything. I will post some pics later today. We miss you and love you, kisses,

hey everybody - Amy this site ROCKS!!!! i LOVE the nate pics (and can't help but laugh at the frown he has on his face when sitting in his high chair and obviously contemplating adult food)!!! thanks for doing this - because the site's simple, it loads quickly and easily out here (the connection's slow)! i miss you all like crazy! will post more later, need to get some sleep...today's not too bad, only 17 hrs at work!hugs,me

Carl we miss you

Carl , I will post some picture here hopefully every week so you can see what we are up to when you get the chance. We just got back from the YMCA we went swimming. Nate has no fear he walked right into the pool and put his face in the water twice. He is fearless. We miss you and we love you.
