Growing up so fast!

Dad was gone all week so Sunday night we made snickerdoodles and chocolate chip cookie bars and today we still have some! I know dad is a cookie monster.... ugh oh I forgot he started reading the blog hopefully he will skip this post. Well the cookies didn't look so good but everyone said they tasted great, and I had homemade cookies to pack in everyone's lunch all week none of that nasty processed junk. So that's all yes, cookies making it a week in the house was worthy of a blog post! HAHAH And everyone seems to be settling into school and we have our routine down. First year no nanny means momma was cleaning kitchen floor at 11:00 pm last night getting up those crumbs or we have ants but the floor is clean and time to add more cookie crumbs because its what we do!

Camp Seagull Father Son Weekend

Well I don't have lots of pictures but I have some cool zip line and rope videos and Nathan came back one tired boy! They stayed in a cabin with their friends and it sounds like it was a great time had by all.

 They left Friday afternoon and didn't return until Sunday afternoon, I heard there was zip lining, archery, b bguns, ga ga ball... the most favorite event, and just relaxing. although I think it was mostly late nights and early mornings. Nathan should sleep well tonight, Father son weekend at Camp Seagull was a hit.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great Labor Day weekend, the weather wasn't perfect, it was hot but we had fun with Aunt Ali, Uncle Troy and Gma, and we celebrated Grandpas birthday so it was a win. Here are a few pictures of our adventures.  We took a trip to the water slides, the kids beg me all summer and we always wait until the last weekend they are open we took them for 1 hour and it was plenty. I am not sure why I dread it so much, next summer they will be older and I will brave it alone.

 Then we hit the beach, we had Julia with us and that was perfect adding another kid makes everyone happy.

 Grandma meet us there and we had a nice relaxing afternoon.

Another little slice of heaven!

 Last weekend was cool and we had some gorgeous sunsets, don't ask about the sunrises I have no idea.

 Carl and I have been busy busy busy trying to find a way...................

 To make sure that we can always have a clear view to Leo's dock I mean if not we will never know when the fish are biting !

 And our kids love love walking through the woods to see Leo and Sandra....

 So keep your fingers and your toes crossed!!!!!

If all goes well this little slice of heaven will be all ours in two weeks. The .5 acres between us and Leo, the perfect size for a little addition to the house, a three car garage or maybe in the short term just a tree fort for the kids!!!!

First Day of School

 Look who started kindergarten ! Oh boy well he is not as excited about school as his brother and sister but he is doing fine for now and I think that smile will get him far! THANK GOD!

Isle of Sheppe

After two days in Cornwall it was off to  The Isle of Sheppe which was only about 2 hours from London but about 7 hours from our current location!!!

Carl just had to stop at Stonehendge I wasn't really feeling it as we could see rocks from the road, but I had to pee so bad and we were in such bad traffic I was ready for a walk.

This is cousin Rufus and Owen had so much fun with him all week, they are the same age.

Mary Ann and I walked... as did everyone else to this town this bar, it was fun. I wish I could have stayed at the bar longer lol!!
