I have been very busy!!!

Yes very very busy, so busy in fact that I have really not done much else. The leaves in my yard are getting deep. Christmas shopping hahaha, my  fridge is empty. Well there are a few left overs, trout. Yes its that time of year. I love, love, love, trout fishing and I have been more than I should. I may have even left Owen with Lindsay for the afternoon on Friday so could go fishing. I have been catching my limit on every run and its fun fun fun. Ohh and Carl loves fish for dinner and so do I so its a win win!!!  My birthday is on Tuesday maybe just maybe I can get one more day of fishing in on Monday you know because its my birthday! I am off to get my rods ready. I'll be back when the fish stop biting!

Birthday Season

We celebrated Caitlin's birthday a few weeks early as the gymnastics place was closed the weekend before and on her birthday due to Thanksgiving. Aunt Ali came down and while Mom was in the kitchen making pies for the Poe Thanksgiving , Ali made the cake!

Horses of course. I think this will be our last year at the gymnastics place.

 Good times

She had a great time! Happy 7th Birthday Caitlin!

Report Cards

Friday nights are family game night and movie night. Last night was Connect Four and watched Wallace and Grommet , very very good movie. For those of you out there searching for Christmas gifts for the kids we sure could use some games for game night. We really have zero. We love games so anything would be awesome and we have none

Nathan and Caitlin had great report cards. Nathan got his first report card with grades. He got the Principal's Award which means, all A's! Setting the bar high for his first report card. Way
We visited Bob and Alice last weekend. Bob has very little short term memory but he still remembers me and has fun playing with the kids. He is playing chase with Owen from his wheelchair and then Owen shared a box of cheerios with him. He looks mean in this picture but he really was all smiles and so happy to see us.
Alice is still as sharp as a tack, almost amazing. Caitlin just like I did as a child loves playing with her magnets.
We went Eno River State Park , it was a pretty fall day. Doesn't this look like a great location for Christmas pictures.
Standing by the River with Dad

Nate you can hardly see him through the cammo jacket

Another long weekend!

I am a little behind from Halloween night, Owen really wasn't in to wearing a costume so I thought of this and he was all in. It was comfy and one of his most favorite things fishing!
This is his preschool class. They look like they are posing for a mug shot ! Things to come ! hahaha

Caitlin the peacock wow look at the way she stands. I am in trouble!!!
Nate the ninja.... three years running!
