Finally got these activies figured out.....

Soooo this year I was determined to make after school easier... in the past it has been brutal and well I think we have finally figured this out....
Caitlin is doing dance and piano this year.... she is doing a six week tennis clinic but its almost over and she has really enjoyed it.
Owen joined swim team... he loves it and doesn't want to go to any meets.. well at least not this year and they are expensive and last all weekend and that is fine with me!!!!!
Nathan is doing piano and scouts and well finally everyone has their own niche AHAHAHAHHAHAHA
so that is all.

School School School

The kids are finally back to school ohhhh I am so so so happy! That was so so long! Six long weeks, I think we (Grandma and I ) did great homeschooling them but I realized homeschooling is not for me. Nope no way noooooooo! So back to school they go and it was a great learning experience for everyone.... 

We spent lots of time with bunny!!!

I had a great time with Algebra 1..... its kind of fun the second time around hahahah

Owen even opened his laptop one day all by himself... WOW !!!

It all called for a celebration , it was fun but we are glad it was over dinner at Amos Mosquitos!!! Nathan was camping and we had a blast......
Okay on to the best season of the year Halloween!!!! next week!!!!

One month no school....

The kids have been out of school for a month because they were so badly damaged and well I have been back at work for most of it so...... the first month was a little rocky but last week Grandma took the reins and now homeschooling is going great. Everyone knows what is expected of them. We have no schedule..... my house is clean because I am not exhausted from having to wake people up so early. Wow its nice.... I mean now I know that in a few years they will all be independent and I can sleep in everyday and yes I can do this.... oh and did I mention the pain in my shoulder is almost gone!!! I have a bad day here and there but ohhhh I feel so much better!!! Wow that was one really really shitty year!!! The pain was so overwhelming at times  but happy to be on the mend and finally I can cook and clean and the wheels on the bus are going round and round.... okay well almost hahaha

 Sometimes  I come home to pans that look like this.

 So glad I had all the homeschool stuff for Owen he hasn't missed much when it comes to school we have been going strong Monday-Friday

 We even went to the County Fair I mean why not!

 I have been cleaning and cleaning, you see for 9 months I did nothing like nothing! I couldn't and well now I have 9 months of cleaning and organizing. I started in July as soon as I started feeling a little better with little task and now I am doing whole rooms in a weekend. I still have a few more rooms to go. I actually have been doing each one twice.  The princess closet was Friday night and then we did Owen's room for the second time yesterday. Next weekend is Caitlin's room again and I will finish with Nathan's. Next up is a coat of paint for my bedroom. Its the only room in the house that hasn't been painted since we moved it.

We have bunny time most evenings We love bunny!!

Hurricane Florence and Hurricamp

Onslow County had a mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Flo so we headed to Aunt Ali's for a week and we had a blast!!! Nothing Kona likes more than a car ride to visit Kai and  were were busy the entire time.

 Thank God for the new mini van,.... its comfy and the DVD player works!!!!

 We went to DC to see the sights.

 Had lunch with the Surgeon General... he looks exactly the same 20 years later lol

 Visited the Air and Space Museum

 Natural History Museum

 Meanwhile Flo sat over our house and rained for three solid days.... we were so so lucky no damage to our house.

 Lots of family time!!!!

 Swimming pools and climbing walls to ourselves

 And then home to do some yard work .... lots and lots of yard work!!!

 Everyone helped ... ok mostly Nathan!!!!

and 6 weeks later the KIDS ARES STILL OUT OF SCHOOL !!!!!

End of summer and back to school!!!!
