Last Day of School

Last Wednesday was a very sad day. Nate and Caits last day of school. After 41 years the school/daycare center was shut down by the base . It was an amazing place and we miss it so much already. Nathan and Caitlin always had such great teachers. Nathan with his class and Mrs. Ariel.
Nate and Caitlin with Mrs. Alice she worked there for 21 years!!! She was awesome!!! I don't have a picture of Caitlin's teacher Amanda but she was just as great!

Here is the letter I wrote to the staff thanking them for everything!!!

The seasons came, the seasons went;
Neighbors, friends and even spouses traveled everywhere,
But despite the myriad changes over the years,
You were always there.

How many diapers have you changed?
How many shoelaces have you tied?
How many boo-boos have you healed?
How many noses have you wiped?

We parents were often alone with no one to turn to
But you were there for us to see.
You gave us our time, you gave us freedom;
At times you gave us our sanity!

You taught them to share, to count, to sing,
To recognize shapes and the colors of the rainbow.
You loved them like they were your very own.
There are not enough words to give thanks, you know.

We now thank you for everything you have done;
What you have taught, they will not outgrow.
You have touched their hearts and minds
In many ways you will never know.

We’re sorry to see the center close,
And even though we will be apart,
Know that each and every day
You will be with them in their hearts!

With Thanks and Love and Gratitude,
The Parents and Children of Paradise Point Day Care Center
