Update

WOW They really do grow so fast.
Caitlin is now 14 months.
She loves books just like her big brother. Her words include, bottle (ba ba) , Nate, Ma, Dad, Apple, kitty.

Her favorite foods- meatballs, oranges, peaches, mac and cheese, eggs, goldfish crackers, green beans, and her favorite peas!

She almost sleeps through the night hahaha about 4 days a week, she wears 12 months clothes with the legs rolled up and she loves playing chase with Nate and Dad.

Nathan- He loves school, and his teacher Pauline
He loves to sing songs favorites include- This Old Man, Jingle Bells, Rudolph , Ba Ba Black Sheep
His vocabulary is amazing and he even uses the correct tense most of the time.
When he gets mad at Caitlin he tells her to Heel because he hears Dad say that to Bimini on walks. I often hear " Heel Cait CAit Heel" How FUNNY
His best friend is Logan from across the street.
He can count, he used to just know the song, but now he can really count things up to 10
He knows his alphabet and is learning how to write his letters - slowly!
Okay thats us.
Mom is still crazy and Dad is still Happy!

A New Year

We had so much fun over the holidays. We started it off with a trip to St. Petersburg to see the old friends I really miss Florida. Everyone had fun and Nate asks everyday if we can go visit Susan. We went to Atlanta and visited Grandpa and Grammy Priechenfried. Grandpa took us to the Atlanta aquarium. I am not sure who liked it more Nate, Caitlin, Mom or Dad? We spent Christmas here in North Carolina with Aunt Ali. On the 23 we got to see the cousins (all five) for an afternoon of fun at the Tulevech house. The day after Christmas it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Poe's house for a few days of much needed sleep and more food than you can imagine.

We have been so busy this month! A quick trip to Florida to see everyone and then to Atlanta to visit Grandpa and Grammy Priechenfried. I have so many pics to post here are just a few I will post more later.

Happy 1st Birthday Caitlin

After Thanksgiving we celebrated Caitlin's first birthday a week early so we could have a party with the entire family. Cailtin looked great in her dress from Aunt Caren and she loved all her new GIRL toys! Caitlin also discovered her tongue this week so she showed it to us in every picture. THANKS CAITLIN!

We had a full house for Thanksgiving. There was enough food to feed a small army!

Pumpkin Patch and more..........

Nate is 2 1/2 now and Caitlin is 10 1/2 months. We had a blast at the pumpkin patch.

Nate is funny!

Two nights ago Nate asked if he could have a graham cracker. Sure I say
I am tired so I run out to the kitchen and grab one but it breaks in half - oh well I think half will do.
Upon returning to his room I hand it to him and he says "Mom I want a rectangle" I say Nate what do you have, his answer "a square". OH okay so I get him the other half, after all he was using his shapes.
The next night he says mom can I have a graham cracker and I respond "sure" He says" May I please have a rectangle"
How funny!

On Sunday we are on a tractor hayride to the pumpkin patch. Nate seems to be enjoying himself when all of a sudden the tractor stops. The drives says we are not at the pumpkin patch yet I am having trouble with the tractor. Nate says loudly " It needs new batteries!"

I almost forgot, Grayson Ted Guthrie was born two weeks ago weighing in around 8lbs and is doing great!

Caitlin loves wagon rides

I know I know it has been too long, so much has happened since my last post. The house was finally moved and we should break ground on the new house any day now. Caitlin started walking a few weeks ago and has been picking up the pace. Mom left dad and the kids for four days and escaped to the mountains with Blythe and the girls. Even more amazing she came home , okay she missed the little devils! The family went to Chapel Hill last weekend for visit with Bob and Alice. Carl went to a football game and watched UNC beat Miami, he had a blast!

Nathan loves to sing, his favorites are 5 little pumpkins and the wheels on the bus. He loves to listen to moms ipod. Caitlin loves to say and wave Bye Bye, she also says Hi and she is no longer nursing. Dad and Mom are having a party this weekend to celebrate the fact that no one is relying on me for nutrition. THERE WILL BE A KEG! THe neighborhood is lame but we are adjusting. I went out to buy Caitlin shoes today but they don't make a size that small in shoes for walkers oh well she has to wear slippers until she is a size 4 maybe next year. Okay well here are some pics, Nate chasing leaves, Cait in the wagon. Time for me to find Caitlin she still sleeps very little. Her favorite pasttimes include, chasing the cat, playing in the dog bowls and eating any small objects she finds.
