Water , Water , Water

 Here is  a picture of the sunset on Queens Creek , the blob you see in the center right it the huge Alligator that comes to visit us when it rains a lot and the creek gets fresh!  This was on Friday night, after a rainy inside day on Friday we had a great weekend. Saturday we headed out for our first family kayak trip. Nathan and I on the sit on top and the two littlest with Carl in the big kayak. It was windy so it made for an excellent workout!

 Caitlin jumping off the diving board at the base pool she finally got the nerve to take the swim test. She passed it with flying colors and it didn't take her long to head straight to the diving board!

Carl and I had a great night out on Saturday night, ever had a beergarita! Oh yummy!

4th of July

 Well we really just did one thing this 4th of July weekend, boat , boat boat, the weather was perfect so it was the right thing to do. All I have on my iphone is boat pictures. We even took Brad and Heidi out one day but I didn't take any pictures that day. That was the day I didn't pack enough beer in the cooler and well I don't think I will ever live that one down! Art and Steve drove in for the weekend and well we had a blast.

 Aunt Ali and Uncle Troy joined us for a boat trip on Saturday!

 And the snow cone boat showed up and Ali treated all to snow cones, what an awesome Aunt!

 On Sunday we went out with the cousins! Good times!

Ocracoke 2013

We had a fun mini vacation with the Flemings in Ocracoke. We even took Owen with us this time. As we were getting ready he kept saying "Owen going" hahahah yes Owen you finally made the cut and you were very good so I guess you can now hang for family vacations!!!

 We had a suite so the kids could have a room while the adult had dinner or talked or relaxed!

 After pizza night we headed out on the golf carts!

 We stopped by the Marina to visit Rick and Sheryl and have a cold beer.

Then it was game night, there were some heated games of air hockey. I lost twice!!!!!

Fathers Day 2013

Well I still have not been carrying my good camera around with me but there is always next month. Yes this may be my last blog post for a few days as I am packing my bags for the next two weeks . I have a work conference this week. Tomorrow morning I will head off for a some time in the forest , I let you k now how it goes. As for Fathers Day weekend we had a blast. On Friday we headed out to Bear Island on the boat. The kids loved it of course, it was a little cool for me you know only in the upper 80's hahaha. I like it hot hot hot! On Friday night we played some mini golf and then welcomed the newest Priechenfried to the family, she came in at 22 ft and 150 hp, her name is College Fun....d

and we fell in love with her the instant we meet her. We... meaning Caitlin was sad to see the Maritime Minivan go on Thursday night but I think once we take the kids on a nice fast boat ride the pontoon boat will be a distant memory. On Saturday morning Granny took the kids for the night so we could actually buy the boat and then Carl and I took it out for the afternoon. We are looking forward to many great adventures on it for years to come!

Fathers Day at pools, yes multiple ones, the first one had a pucker so we left for the other O'club. Then dinner with Grandma and Grandpa, awesome weekend, awesome day!!!! Okay I will see you next week when I come back to pick up the family for a three day adventure !

Class of 2025

So much happened since Carl came home but to tell you truth I didn't take as many pictures as I should have, really wanted to. I have slept in one day , but its going to take a while to get back to normal so I will just post as much as I can. We had an awesome coming home party for Carl on Friday night with family and friends and I have zero pictures ughhhhh Oh well. Okay on to this week, its Monday. Caitlin graduated from kindergarten today. The kindergarten class did a great performance and Caitlin did great!
Oh I will miss her teacher so much she is so awesome , so caring! I just love her!

The kids both got excellent report cards. Caitlin is reading at Level N and is an Early Developing Writer. She got above average for reading, writing and spelling, but no math :( Nathan got above average for reading and off to 1st grade and 3rd grade we go!

 

We ended the day with a trip to toys r us and a the dentist. A toy for each for a great school year and no cavities. Today we started swim team, everyone had fun!

 

 

Caitlins class made Carl a flag with their handprints for being their pen pal while he was a away! Awesome! How cute!

Welcome Home Dad

 We couldn't wait to go pick up daddy! We thought for sure he would be home on Saturday but Saturday morning as he was waiting on his last leg to refuel the pilots hit mandatory rest and so he was delayed a day! Ughhh I thought how hard could 24 hours be, ohhh you have no idea, but we made it and here we are!

The kids are almost done school and we have a summer of fun planned so stay right here to watch it all happen, or even better come join us!

Memorial Day 2013

We had a fun weekend. Owen , Grandma and I started it off right with a shopping trip on Friday followed by some pool time hahaha! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 We meaning the kids spent alot of time with Leo and Sandra, visiting the kittens and fishing.

 Owen loves to spend time with his sister and brother he will be beside himself in two weeks when he has them all day!

I have to learn how to drive this so I can help dad drive MOM's new boat!
