Tears on Christmas Morning

We were waiting for Grandma and Grandpa to show up on Christmas morning and Owen called us all up to his room. He had been collecting christmas presents for everyone. We would be in Foodlion and he saw a sewing kit he knew Caitlin would like so he asked me if he could get it. He wrapped everything and put it under the tree.

Oh my cuteness... can you say tears...

 A sewing kit for Caitlin

He used his own money to buy Nathan some matchbox cars.
 Passing out gifts.

A harrier for the train set for dad  and for mom it was a Polaroid picture of himself wrapped up.

Leo over for dinner and drinks while Carl was busy in the kitchen.
He made minced pies this year, he used a few recipes but then figured it out and yummy will definitely be a new family tradition.

Leo and Owen best buddies.

Christmas Pictures

Rebecca takes such awesome photos! I was so not feeling it this year I actually didn't schedule it but when I told Carl I just couldn't do it, he said no way, get the kids some clothes we are headed to Durham. So glad we went, we had a great day! Lunch with Rebecca, afternoon drinks and snacks with Steve and April and upon arriving home Leo had fish and oysters ready for us!!! Just doesn't get any better than that.

Getting ready for Christmas 2016

Getting ready for Christmas this year. Not going to lie I was exhausted. Carl did it all I was just plain tired.  He did the tree and the train  and as you can see the tree was done when I started taking pictures as I was sleeping when the kids did it.
Okay lets get this party started!
 Kona was ready for Christmas.

Caitlin actually stayed home from school one day and we got started making cookies, we made our usual sugar cookies, snickerdoodles and a new chocolate thumbprint with a Hershey Kiss that was a big hit.
 YUm
Everyone helps decorate the cookies and eat them as well!
Then it was time for a photo op, The boys were waiting for Caitlin to get her Christmas pjs on.
Kona always ready for a picture hahahah
Here comes Caitlin down the stairs.

My favorite Christmas picture! How do I get my kids to take go pictures, they have no choice there is a camera in their face all the time and it doesn't bother me one bit. I'm  the mom that takes lots of pictures.
