A dark week

Caitlin can stand alone.

Nate walking into school, rolling his eyes at me because I am taking his picture. Yes my 2 yr old rolls his eyes at me!

When Nate wakes up in the morning he climbs into the crib with Cait Cait and they bounce around until Mom or Dad get up.

Dads birthday party!

Well not a bad week just dark. Carl had eye surgery PRK on Monday and his eyes have been very sensitive to the light, so we have had lights off, and blinds closed. I AM GOING CRAZY. Doc said no beach this weekend! WHAT NO BEACH ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND! I am a little upset, I guess I will survive.

Summer Fun

Hello, Hello,... is anyone there?

After a summer heat wave last week things are a bit cooler, low 90's.

Everyone is doing well, nothing new. Nate still doesn't eat much and Cait still doesn't sleep much. Here are a few of my favorite pics of the week. Nate got a letter from Nora and he loves looking at her picture. If he is not looking at Nora he is looking at his new goldfish he named Dory. He got Dory as a party favor from Kamden's birthday party last weekend. He loves to feed Dory " a teeny tiny pinch" of food. Also included is Nate's first trip to the icecream truck with Grandma he now watches for the icecream truck daily. Cait Cait is eating well, better than Nate but does not sleep, can't have it all!

The pool is just down the street but mom does not brave it alone . We go after dad gets home from work.

Carl got his promotion to Major on Tuesday. If I type anything Carl will say I am a smart ass because he does not believe I am genuine about anything. So I guess I will not even try--- I really am proud of you Carl. Might of well add a smart ass comment now. The only difference between Capt and Major is now he gets to work out 5 hours a day instead of 4.

We are all doing well, okay Mom is a bit bored but she is writing some manuscripts to fill the time and hoping to find a partner in crime soon. It is hard to match the St. Pete crew but I guess I must try.

Okay I just rolled over Caitlins toes with my chair the girl is tough she stopped crying already.

Hello Hello WE MOVED AGAIN

Hello Everyone or Anyone

Does anyone look at this?

WE moved onto base, Carl and I are adjusting. Nathan loves it. The neighborhood playground is in our backyard ! He waits at the window everyday for the boys (Logan and John both 3 yrs) to come out and play. He opens the front door and before his foot his the ground he screams " HI BOYS HI" . He runs as fast as his feet will take him to meet up with his buddies. It is really cute! We don't have to worry about traffic if cars do come they go so slow you have nothing to worry about. People follow the rules here like you can't even imagine! My next door neighbor is from my hometown we went to the same high school . HOW FUNNY!

Hello Hello,

Well we had a great 4th of July week. We spent time at the beach and had a cookout on the 4th with Jason, Janelle and Bryn. We helped Max celebrate his 4th birthday yesterday and got to see the family. I must admit I spent most of the week working and getting caught up on paperwork but I finally feel orginized. Time to move- on Friday we are moving on base to start the home renovations.

Hello Hello,

I have so much to write. I would like to start out by saying how HAPPY we are that Nora's little sister Iris is doing much better after heart surgery. We wish her a very speedy recovery!

We are settling into our house although we have decided to move on to base for a few months while we do some home renovations. What an adventure! We have meet our newest cousin Jack and so far he just sleeps but we know he is just resting up for some future adventures. Nate gets Granny Opava time every Wednesday and he loves it! We are at Grandma and Grandpa Poe's house for fathers day and I will post some pictures from our day out on the sailboat. Happy Fathers Day.

Fun Fun Fun

We had a great weekend. Aunt Ali came to visit and we got to spend some time with Aunt Caren and cousin Carlie. Saturday and Sunday were spent at the beach both days. The weather was perfect although the water was freezing. I didn't even get my toes wet! Carl worked most nights but found a few hours each day to spend with the family. Nathan started swimming lessons today and did excellent. Caitlin turns six months old this week. She is starting to crawl. She also eats three meals a day. Her favorite passtime is laughing at her big brother.

Hello Hello,

It has been a while. We have been in North Carolina for two weeks now. It has been cold by Florida standards (70's) but things are warming up. We miss all of our friends but we have been able to visit with family and friends here which has been great. The house is small so we have been meeting with builders in hopes of adding a room. Nate is doing good he misses his girlfriends (Claire and Nora). I have been very bad about taking pictures but I promise to get back into the swing of things.

Nate has seen his Granny a few times and last weekend we went to Chapel Hill to visit Bob and Alice and meet Grandma and Grandpa and Ali there.

Many friends came for the fun including Logan , Claire, Nora, Eric, Anna, Reed, Mason and sister Cait.
Nathan even tried the icing on the cake. I tried to give him a piece of cake but no way. Thomas the train even went around the cake.
