Daddy Daughter Dance!!!!!

Caitlin loves loves the Daddy Daughter Dance. We had a dress in the closet from aunt Caren but I made a trip to the mall to get a purse, tights and shoes. On Saturday morning we got our hair done and then I took her to get her nails painted. Caitlin loves it and I like the getting ready part in my yoga pants and love that I don't have to do the dance part hahahah! Perfect!!!!

So proud of my little wolf cub, okay not going to lie really proud of mom for taking him on Wednesdays .... he always says he doesn't want to go but I make him its his only activity and he always has a blast when he is there. They teach him so much and its what he needs. It is organized and look he earned 9 belt loops just since September!!!! Good job Owen and Mom. I am bummed I  missed the ceremony but Carl was home and I was not feeling well yesterday so I held down the fort and Carl enjoyed hanging out with Owen!!!

Sorry Blog

Sorry I have neglected you blog I promise I will get back into blogging! Lets start by saying the kids are awesome. Nathan is really enjoying 7th grade. He finally hit that growth spurt he was waiting for and now he's not one of the shortest. Not the tallest but he's hanging right in the middle and he's very happy about that. Mom has had to go on a a few shopping trips for clothes but that's fine because it had been two years so no problem!!!! Caitlin doesn't really enjoy 5th grade I think she is bored but she has a great little group of friends and I never have to help her with homework so everything is great. Owen is doing amazing awesome wonderful. He just got his mid-year reading assessment and he's in the green. He need to be reading on level L and he's on M and and he never gets in trouble. He likes school , he does great with his homework every week and his spelling and mom could not be happier....
Now to the bad news! UGHHH Adhesive Capsulitis! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!!!  I was diagnosed at the end of November and its been a long long 3 months. Chronic pain just plain sucks!!!  Physical therapy just hurts and three times a week is impossible. I am trowing in the towel and looking forward to my doctors appointment on Tuesday with the Orthopedic Surgeon at Duke, please please let me like this guy!!! Please let him tell me we can end this soon!!!  So it was a cold winter but not too long and it looks like Spring is on the way.... would type more but want to guess what hurts !!! UGHHHH I can't wait for this to be a distant memory!!!

More Snow Days!!!!

Yes it there were more snow days, I think there were two but I am not really sure because it just blended together but last week we went to school/work for an entire week! And the Government shut down for 24 hours and it was just long enough for them to put Carl on a plane back to the USA, so we get to spend the weekend together which is great.

 Only an inch but we got a day off school/work actually I think 2 days!

 Bunny is doing great and loves to come inside and visit us!

 Things finally warmed up! Nathan and Caitlin were in a day long kids STEM clinic so Owen and I went on a hike with my friend Suzanne!

Snow Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not 1 , not 2 , but 3 snow days, we got back from skiing and should have headed back to school the next day  and the kids did for 4 hours but I got the entire day off of my meetings for a snowstorm that was supposed to start but of course didn't . Never mind I needed to get the house cleaned and organized the laundry done. I headed in to physical therapy, an eye appointment, a meeting with my boss, and then came the snowstorm and two more days off of work. It was just what I needed, I had the day off today to look at the snow and tomorrow I am going to spend my day off at physical therapy and the grocery store, and I will be ready to head back to work on Monday yipeeee!!!
