Caitlin's Birthday Season

 We decorated the basement for a glow party!

 No presents because mom is not allowing anything into the house after I cleaned it.... so dog and cat food for the shelter.

Fish Fry and Cub Scouts

 Sandra and Leo came over for a fish fry two weekends ago and she brought a sweet potato cake with cream cheese pecan frosting.... oh wow I am still working it off

 we all love a fish fry well except Nathan

 Leos hush puppies are amazing

 Owen and I love to share grapefruits for breakfast ... we can't wait for a our florida shipment to get here.

 Owen received awards from his recent camp out with Carl, Carl couldn't come he was at home helping with Geometry, we have a a division of labor. I help with Statistics and Carl is Geometry .... we are both good with Algebra.

This and that!

 I spent the last bit of summer at Amy's pool soaking up the rays!

 The kids had a piano recital and did amazing! I love love listening to them play

 here is Nathans dresser, ohhh and look you can see the floor!!!

 Owen wrote in his agenda that he wants to fish with mom!!! LOVE IT!! Speaking of fishing that is all we have done really we have fished non stop and its been so much fun as I didn't get to do it for the last two years!

 This guy went to homecoming, I convinced him to go solo and he had so so much fun! So proud of him.

 Nathan had swim team tryouts on Halloween night and he made the team!!! He got in trouble and could not go trick or treating but oh well .

 I made my signature pumpkin pancakes at 5:30 in the morning! Looking pretty awesome if I do say so myself!!

 Caitlin was Dora the explorer!!!

 Caitlin and I enjoyed a night out to dinner while the boys camped for the entire weekend!!1 IT WAS SO MUCH FUN< AND QUIET!!!

 and we fished some more!!!

Here is Owen with his furniture from Nathan, he loves his new/old room!!! He finally has room in his dresser... okay have to run more updates tomorrow I promise!

Eagle Scout and more!

Nathan finished all the work on his Eagle Scout Project in September, he still needs to do the paperwork but that will happen this week. It was hot hot hot but he got it done and I am proud of him 

 Meanwhile I sat on the dock watching the dolphins jump, we saw lots of dolphins in the creek this year and it was warm and sunny and I miss summer!!!

 Meanwhile I decided enough was enough and I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the kids rooms, my theory was if there was nothing left they could no longer make messes and so far it is working!!!

 Nathan was done with the bunk beds and had been asking me for a queen size mattress all summer so I got him a new bedroom set

 He got a long dresser with a mirror as well and his room is clean!!!

Summer Fun One last time!

 Nathan earned his small boat sailing certifications this summer. He now has an official

 He was staff at NYLT this summer for the Boy Scouts

 We spent Labor Day at Lake Gaston with Ali and Troy , we had so much fun , the weather was more than perfect

 The sun was warm

 The water was soooo perfect

 We had soooo much fun!

 The beer tasted great!

 We can't wait until next year!!!
