Not much news!

Hello,
Wow , its August already where does summer go? Our days are spent at the pool and the beach. Nathan is doing great swimming and can almost make it across the pool alone. Cailtin just likes to watch or tell me to come to the steps so she can save me. Caitlin is completely potty trained and was easy once we realized just leave her alone and she will do all by herself. She is little Miss Independent! School does not start until after labor day but mom is counting the days. Carl has 2 ½ years time on station now and so we are anxiously awaiting word as to his next duty station. We really have no idea where we will go so I find myself getting a little depressed by it all but I know there is no use worrying about something I have no control over. If you know me you know that is easier said than done! So for now we sit and wait. One last thing, how could I forget. Nathan is doing awesome eating. If you bought stock in Tyson you might want to sell now. The last two trips to the store I have not bought any chicken nuggets! I know crazy, thought we would never see the day. He is eating Cheeseburgers, pasta, hotdogs....... and lets not forget those fruits and veggies (pears, apples, grapes, pineapple, broccoli, carrots.... WOW can you believe it. I owe all my thanks to his feeding therapists, Leah and Heidi. Thanks so much! Now for some pictures.

Dance

Caitlin, wow what a princess. How did I get such a princess? Don’t get me wrong, she can hang with the boys, it is often Nate telling her to pick up the bugs and hold the fish. About two days ago she came up to me while I was watching the evening news and said “Mommy I want to go to ballet” I sort of shrugged it off and said sure we can go to ballet. I didn’t even know where she learned about ballet but figured it was a passing thought. Well the next day we are on our way out and she says “Mommy are we going to ballet now?” I looked at her and said Caitlin do you know what ballet is? She said “Yes mommy watch me” As she spun around on her toes. OH boy! So I called the dance studio down the street and tomorrow we are going to register her for ballet. Last night Carl came home after being away for a few days and was getting the kids ready for bed. I wasn’t in the room and Caitlin had him cornered and asked “Daddy can I do ballet?” Wow she has it all figured out and she is only two! If mommy doesn’t do something fast enough I will just ask dad! So its off to dance!

Vacation - NO KIDS!!!!!

Thursday night we drop the kids off with Grandma- Nate catching fire flies. THANKS SO MUCH GRANDMA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Caitlin is all smiles because Grandpa "pimped her ride" . He added the horn, handbar things, bell and basket. THANKS GRANDPA

Carl, Amy, Ali, Troy and Grandpa head off for four days sailing the Chesapeake Bay! WHAT FUN! We played tennis everyday, enjoyed Maryland Crabs at every meal and washed it all down with Miller Lite , what could be better!

Getting ready for some rough weather. All that means is you have to drink your beer fast or your might spill some!

Alison driving , while Amy takes her thirdi or fourth nap of the day. Its not a sailboat trip if Amy doesn't sleep for at least 75% of it!

Carl takes the wheel!

Carl never far from his blackberry UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. He is trying to hide it here. Why didn't I throw it into the Bay...... next time!
What a great trip, thanks so much Grandma and Grandpa.
