Rainclouds, tears, sunshine, smiles!

Its still hard for me to write this blog post. We said goodbye to Lindsay last week. Its hard to even write the blog post. To say Lindsay is a part of the family is an understatement she has been here for the past three years, five days a week and even on the weekends. The kids knew that if they needed anything, anytime, anyplace Lindsay would be there.  Nathan and Caitlin are taking it the hardest, I was prepared for Caitlin but even Nathans actions surprised even Lindsay the last week she was here.  There have been tears at bed time on more than one night and Caitlin still asks everyday if Lindsay has an address yet. We have also had a week of nonstop cold rain, and a few other just plain bouts of bad luck but here we are. I hired one nanny that didn't work out but now we have a new nanny and she is awesome and it didn't take long for Owen to show her the ropes. As long as you take him to the park and do some cooking with him at least three times a day everything will be fine. LOL!!!!!

Owen making his birthday pancakes. This kid loves to cook!

Painting Lindsay's nails on her last day.
Owen gives Lindsay her going away present. She loved it.  We gave her presents every morning on the week she left, she loved them all.
There were lots and lots of goodbye hugs!
We tried to keep it all smiles and no tears, it was Owen's birthday by the way.
Nothing lots of beer couldn't fix so the boys brought us beer by building a lego beer hold attached to an rc tank.  That's legal right?
Lindsay made the kids awesome bulleting boards for their rooms and each kid a shutterfly book of their adventures. They loved it.
If there was one thing that would be make it all better it was an oreo cookie icecream cake.
 More good bye hugs!
Its not goodbye Lindsay its see ya later! We love you with all our heart. You have given them so much. Thank you for the all the good times, the sleepovers, trips to the pool, trips to the beach, library, pirate park, soccer practice and games, ballet, boyscouts, camp drop off and pick up, movies, crafts, story time, speech lessons, swim lessons, birthday party planning, dry cleaning ,room organizing, swim team,  outfit shopping, baking and cooking, lunch packing, piano practice, laundry folding, house cleaning, homework doing, errand running, grocery shopping, potty training, preschool drop off  and pick up and lots and lots of  LOVE!!!!!
