Photo shoot- NO WAY!

Caitlin is the only one who smiles for the camera!
Lady don't even think about it!

A mans place is on the sofa

Now your talking!

I think its nap time! But only for 15 minutes and don't even think about laying down or I really will scream!

Yeah that didn't work out. I guess Owen didn't get the memo. An awesome warm sunny day. Got the kids dressed everyone outside and Owen screamed as soon as I put him on the blanket. Oh well, I got some good smiles on the sofa so it will have to do.

As you can see Caitlin didn't have any problems in front of the camera!

Carl is traveling for work so we are so happy to be able to come and visit for Spring Break. Here are some pictures of all our Easter Fun!

Doing Good

Hello,

Just wanted to say THANKS to everyone!!!! We can't thank everyone enough for all the help and support over the past few days. I am sure I will forget someone but I am going to try. Thanks to Aunt Susan for staying with Nathan and Catilin. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for coming to visit in the hospital and staying with the kids for two nights! Aunt Claire came down for the delivery and helped right after surgery, she knew all the tricks for making me feel good! Thanks so much to Aunt Caren and Aunt Ali for the moral support! The kids are with Grannie and Granddad for a sleepover right now while Mom and Dad get settled. THANK YOU ALL!!!!

As for us we are doing well. Owen is eating well and sleeping (as long as you don't put him down)! Dad has been amazing helping mom! Thanks to everyone else who hasn't been named! We can't wait for you to all meet the little guy!!!!!

ALL DONE!!!!

This is what we eat at home now! Meatballs, mac and cheese, pears and broccoli. He cleaned his plate!

Nate is all done with feeding therapy. I really can’t thank Leah and Heidi enough. I remember those early days in St. Petersburg when the therapist would try to sneak food in his yogurt and he would throw up all over the place. UH I would just leave crying. When we found Leah it was a miracle. He has come such a long way! Here is his last day eating Cheesy Beef Pie!

SNOW!!!

SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW View from the dock

The view from the backyard.

Nathan playing in the snow with Bimini.

Nathan throws a snowball. I knew it was going to snow because I left their winter jackets at school on Friday. We wore last years and noone seemed to mind.

The best dad in the whole world!!!!!

All we have heard about in the news is snow snow snow. The kids wanted snow so badly and I really had lost all hope with temps in the 50's all week. Yesterday they said snow and I didn't mention it to the kids. At 8:30 pm I walked outside to go to the grocery store and it was coming down. I called upstairs to the kids to come see the snow. Nathans feet didn't hit a single step on his way down the stairs he said " SNOW FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!" It was so cute! They have been in it all day! I am so happy for them. It is just enough (4 inches) and not to much HAHAHAH like everyone else with 50 inches!!!!!!

Another cold rainy weekend.........

Well nothing new here which is fine with me. The kids are all better. We had a quiet weekend at home. It was cold and rainy with no snow! Here are few pictures of the kids. Caitlin loves getting her picture taken. Nathan is doing really well eating. He is only going to feeding therapy twice a month now and we should be done in just a few more sessions. He has added macaroni and cheese, meatballs, cheeseburgers and pizza to his diet. We never had a problem with fruits and vegetables. I am the only mom in America that has to say stop eating your fruit and veggies until you take a bite of your hamburger! Some day we will laugh about this...............

Nathan eating mac and cheese, the pears are gone of course. He also loves snow peas (like his mommy)!
Off to Sunday school. Caitlin takes her frog everywhere!

She is such a diva!!!

Changes

Aunt Susan stops by to visit!
Nathan singing at his school show. They learned about different kinds of music in school and sang Yellow Submarine for us. See video below.

Another exciting week here. Just the usual; Carl got orders to Quanitico, Virgina to attend Command and Staff this week (starts in Aug). The family will stay behind to await orders to the next duty station as Quantico is just a school and only lasts 10 months. I am 35 weeks pregnant and still feeling good for the most part. It was a week of germs - Caitlin got sick but like always was not phased. Dad even got a cold but so far mom has avoided it!! Nathan of course got hit the hardest and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I once again get the good mom award for not acting on my gut instinct that my son needed immediate medical assistance and made him suffer through a night of labored breathing. We now know how to recognize the signs.....

Danger Signs: If your child has any of these danger signs, call your doctor or advice nurse NOW. Your child needs medical attention IMMEDIATELY!
Wheezing when breathing in as well as when breathing out -- NATHAN HAD BOTH
Sucking in of the skin below the chest, between the ribs, and at the base of the neck - NATHAN HAD BOTH
Nostrils widening with each breath- don't remember if we had this
Difficulty walking or talking - CHECK ON THIS ONE AS WELL
Very rapid breathing Lips or fingernails turn blue- YEP Doc showed us this at the office!
greater than 30 breaths per minute ---- NATHAN HAD 50!!!!!
But, at the end of the day, we're all on the mend (okay, except me - I need another 4 weeks or so!) and will be in fine form probably by Mon when the rain moves in haha.

BRRRRRR ITS COLD

Caitlin gives me a great smile as we take down Christmas. Don't worry I think the Christmas carols will stay until June!
Caitlin wanted a fruit freeze pop today, after eating it for a minute she appears with mittens to eat it. She is so funny.

The creek with ice, Carl took this picture I was upstairs sleeping. Not much sleep last night, with temps in the 20's we lost power for 6 hours, oh boy did it cold cold cold cold. We got power back but there was not enough in the lines to run our heat pumps so we had to run one at a time. IT WAS SO COLD!!!!!!! Let me tell you how much fun it is to have the whole family sleeping in one bed!!!!!!!

Nothing new here, its just cold, with no snow which equals no fun!!!!!!
