England London Day 1

 After a long long red eye flight and a horrible ride from the airport we finally made it to Carl's Aunt and Uncles  house in London. I have never been happier to lay my head down on a pillow!

 Front of the house, it was very big by England standards.. four bedrooms, living room, large kitchen and three bathrooms.

 We took the tube everywhere in London. "Please mind the gap" was our favorite !

 Tower of London was our first stop on Day 2

 We didn't walk the Tower Bridge as we headed off to the Natural History Museum next.

This was a cool fire station by George and Lindas house. I guess I missed the pictures we took a boat ride down the Thames, but I must have used the tablet.  I will add those later. Day 2 everyone is still happy!

Pulling at my heart strings!

So I know I know where iss England, don't worry its coming should be on a blog near you by the weekend but it will have to wait for the pictures to get downloaded so until then, iphone pics and the happenings at the Priechenfried house.
We have returned from England and I took the kids back to school supply shopping, it only took us a few minutes and I didn't make a big deal of it. Owen knows that change is near. He started his first camp this week with the big kids, first time ever he is left with the big kids and he is doing great but  deep down inside I think hes a bit nervous.  We have chats before bed and right after he tells me what he wants for breakfast... yes you go that right pancakes and sausage used to be a favorite now its eggs sunny side up! He asks if he needs me in the night if he can come to my room... I say of course. This kid has never ever slept with his mommy except every night this week.. Around 1 am I hear the patter of his feet by my bed and he gets in bed gets under the covers and kisses my check.  A few hours later a little hand usually hits me in the head and I get a big giant smile in the morning. But deep down inside I can tell he seems a bit nervous a bit unsure.... and I have never seen this with Owen before so even I have been caught a bit of guard. I know he will do fine and now I just cherish the extra hugs and kisses because I have been getting lots of them. Don't worry little O.. moms got your back... nothing to worry about here.. You will rock Kindergarten!!!!

Anther Fun Weekend

 We had  a hot hot hot swim meet Saturday morning, the kids did great. Here is owen getting ready to get first in the backstroke.

 Look who came to visit Baby Emmerson and everyone loved her so much, maybe too much, I don't think she was sad to leave, the attention was a little overwhelming.

 She was surrounded by playmates at all times.

Everyone loved giving her bottles and she didn't mind to much!  I think Shelly and Kurt were here too hahahah. We took two boat rides, did a little crabbing, eat crabs and had a great time.

Sailing Camp

Owen and I watched the kids on the last day of sailing camp and took lots of pictures. The kids had a blast and I think we will do it again next year.  I took more pictures of Nathan because I could see him the entire time, Caitlin was down the creek for most of it.  Good times they had great weather considering it is blazing hot this week.

Summer Fun, Camps and more!

Well like always it has been a busy few weeks. Nathan and Caitlin started sailing camp last week and finish up today. It is in Beaufort but I kind of missed Morehead City and was looking forward to two weeks of afternoon in the big City hahah. I never really got bored once. Owen and I spent out time hanging out on Grandpa's boat, Aunt Ali came down last week and we hit the beach with Grandma, a few trips to the Maxx, and visited with some friends and it was a good time had by all.  Brian Sydnor came down last Saturday for the evening, good times had by all. These are all iPhone pictures but I am looking forward to taking some good pictures with my camera today.

 Caitlin getting ready to head out. I was really nervous that they wouldn't like sailing camp, it was a far drive only 125.00 for each week, which really isn't too bad considering the great instruction. The wind was blowing every day! We even had a few injuries, but the kids loved it!

 In addition to sailing camp we still had swim team, with meets on Tuesday evenings, the kids did awesome! Why be tired it summer !!!!!

 Ohhh and if that wasn't enough we went to not one but two kids birthday parties last weekend. After the Saturday morning swim meet Nathan went to Garretts paintball party in J-ville .  The black eye Nathan is sporting is from sailing camp not paintball!!

 

 Then when Sydnor arrived we headed over to the Armstrong's for Nolan's 7th birthday party! Ali and Syd didn't mind the beer was cold, they had a view of the water and we traveled by boat.  Did I mention that  Ali and I went out and partied like rock stars on Friday night,.... never again I will never stay up that late again my body can't do that anymore!!! I am officially declaring myself old ahahhahah

We had a great 4th of July weekend, on Friday night Carl did a promotion ceremony in the neighborhood, Saturday morning we headed to Earth and Surf Fest, Saturday evening we headed to the Armstrongs to watch the fireworks and they had an inflatable movie screen set up in their back yard. Ohhh I am tired.... Owen walked into my room this morning with his backpack on , Mommy I am ready to go to the party..... uh Owen our life was on big party we are done no more parties until next weekend..... he left crying hahahah The 5th of July can be such a downer!!!!!
