Florida 2011

This is going to be a long post. We started our adventure on Thursday evening with Aunt Susan. We flew out of Wilmington on Allegent Air, tickets were $ 13.00 each way. We landed in Orlando rented a van and headed to a different airport to pick up Ali. We arrived at Shades of Green on Disney Resort late but excited. After a good nights snooze it was Disney world here we come! There were lots of funny comments but the best one goes to Aunt Susan with " NATHAN HAS BEEN PLACED ON THE NO FLY LIST!" I won't give you all the details but we didn't bring his clothes home from the flight there or the flight back! Poor guy and poor mom who had to sit with him!

Our first stop Pluto

Blythe and Claire drove up from St. Petersburg and spent the day with us. The tea cups with the girls. Nathan and Ali were on the race cars.

Everyone loved the parade. When the bad characters would get close to Caitlin she would run away, it was so cute.

The people mover was a favorite.

Caitlin loved seeing the princesses. I think this is sleeping beauty. She was so excited.

What a great day! Favorite rides by Nathan : SPACE MOUNTAIN, Buzz Lightyear Space Rangers, Race cars, Dumbo Ride, Donald Duck Boat, The Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Things Caitlin didn't like - Snow White's Scary Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (sorry Cailtin you were such a sport for such a scary ride).


Next it was off to St. Petersburg to visit the Janicki Family. The kids couldn't wait to swim in the pool and play with all the cool toys at Susan's house.

Susan spoiled us it is strawberry season in Florida, oh we had shortcakes, milkshakes, waffles!

Time to go home. We had so much fun! Thanks Aunt Ali , Aunt Susan, The Janicki Family, Blythe and Clair for the good times. Thank you ! Thank you Thank Carl for coming home and hanging out with Owen for the weekend! Don't worry Owen when you are three we will go back so you can join in the magic of Disney!
