We are expecting!!!!!

Yes you got that right, little Kona Priechenfried was born on April 28, 2016 she is doing great. Growing like a weed and in two short weeks we will bring her home!!! We are so excited and mom is terrified but you only live once so here goes nothing!

Summer is HERE!!!!

Ohh blog I have so much to say, don't worry it will be a week of blog posts. I had an amazing time in Mexico,... pictures are coming, I can't get my camera to download pictures to this computer grrrrr!!!Its making me mad. ... maybe tomorrow I will figure it out... and things have been crazy busy lately and this week doesn't look much better. Ohhh well summer is here and we are having fun. Its actually the Priechenfried family motto. you see I start screaming get in the car, did you brush your teeth, do you have shoes, Owen where is Owen has anyone seen Owen.... then I start the car turn and look at Nathan and say " Are we having fun yet"? Last week we were having a day and as I got in the car he said it to me first.... yep they know how it plays out. We are always having fun we just have to convince ourselfs sometimes. So the last two weeks were quite a blurrrrr. Lets just say I taught swim lessons oohhhh enough said and NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! I smiled and lets just say its OVER!!!!

Last day of school and in case your wondering I have a 6th grader, 1st grader and 4th grader ohhh wow!!!

 Yes I am sending Owen to 1st grade and I am working with him every single day this summer and in case you are wondering yes I have done it. We do two worksheets every morning followed by two books and we have been writing and making list and reading reading reading!

We love bunny!

 Oatmeal got some new outside digs! He still stays in the garage at night but on nice day he has a  new bunny condo! I know I know even the damn bunny is spoiled hahahah I know he is going to grow up and not go to college and live off his mom and dad ahahahahah!

 He takes up the garage and he is quite an escape artist this morning we came out to find him hopping around the garage, no quite sure how he is escaping but I never open door unless I check for him .I keep my van in the driveway now anyway as Carl is gone and I hate not having a car in the drive way. I am sure that will change in the winter but the van and oatmeal fit so that is fine!

Hi bunny!!!!

RIP Bimini

Well after 14 years we had to put Bimini down last week. I tried my best to prepare the kids but it was horrible , awful and the worst job as a parent. She was blind , had diabetes and vet said she was advanced age and it was time but I get a little sad after every meal when I have to throw the leftovers in the trash can.

 Its not all about the kids! Ali and Troy came down two weekends ago and we attended Swansboro Derby Days ! We had an absolute blast! No kids just fun with the adults!!!! Perfect weather and so much fun to dress up and put on your Derby Hat!!!

School stuff!

I finished up a week ago and it has been crazy, my online classes 3 of them started Monday and I am working on them as soon as I finish this blog post. Working at home is awesome when all three of your kids are in school! I would get lonely after a few months but for the summer I love it. Having a few weeks before the kids get out of school is even better. I have been running errands and trying to get all the stuff we needed to get done finished before school lets out. I do  need to learn to say no!!!! I have spend so much time with the kids at school but I feel bad for the teachers no other parents help. Oh well I can sleep when I am dead!

Owen scored a goal in soccer in his next to last game, it might have been a Priechenfried first !!!!!   Sports stars we are not in this house but thats fine with me! They have fun, they make friends and they get exercise! 

 I joined Owen at field day last week! Good times had by all.... mostly the kids!!!

Weekends filled with fun!

 Spring has sprung and its our busiest time in the Priechenfried house. We had a piano recital, and finished up soccer for both Caitlin and Owen.

 Caitlin and Nathan did awesome in their piano recital , Nathan got student of the year and Caitlin got two other awards. They were very proud of their achievements and unlike the other trophies kids get these days I think they really earned them. Nathan has come really far this year in piano and is sounding great.  Caitlin played a group of classic hymns and Nathan played two  Star Wars songs. I am so proud of them, they are starting to sound really good on the piano. I am proud that they have stuck with it and I think it will be something that will last a lifetime and they can play even when the lessons stop.

 Nathan and Carl did a two day canoe trip down the white oak river with boy scouts. They got perfect weather and had a great time.

Happy 11th Birthday

 We decided to give up on birthday cake as he doesn't like it, but choc chip cookie cake well thats another story. We had to make 3 that week, one for test, one for birthday dinner at grandmas house and one for his birthday party with his friends at defy gravity.

 Next Stop was Truman Annex which is right off Duval Street, Ali and Troy rode the bikes and well look another beach in beach key west... well unless you can get on a Navy base...

 We spent the afternoon relaxing and swimming and grilling and well just thinking how warm it was!

 There was a game of bag toss... oh man did Carl and Amy beat Ali and Troy bad!!!!

  A cruise ship rode past... looking at us on our private beach while they were packed like sardines on the ship...um no thank you!!!
